A Letter From Hell

Why haven't you ever told me about how to become a Christian? You say you're my friend.. If you were, you would have told me about.. Jesus.
P.S.: Wish you were here
- Josh
When I saw the title of this video, I kind of felt curious about it as it sounded unusual at the same time, scary. Well, it really is frightening! What if you received a letter from Hell? What if there's a post script that says: "Wish you were here."?

This video calls out every Christian to speak out and spread the Good News of our salvation so that others would come to the saving knowledge of God. That as sons of God, we must take a stand to our faith in the Lord.

It stresses that if we do not do this duty, we are basically sending people to Hell.

Hmm.. What do you think about the video?

I'm sorry, but "my God" is nice and kind and we must tell about Him because he's good, not because we must fear.

Saw this video at Church pretty scary pero people should know that HE lives especially those who knows nothing about His love. =)

I agree with you mama.. i think the video is imposing fear to extract faith which is not right.

Doing something out of fear sometimes doesn't bring any good.

At the outset though, we should all be responsible Christians by spreading the Word of our Saviour..

As most other commenters, I thin kthe movie is about inspiring fear. I don't believe in a God of fear. believe in a God of love.

People who believe in a God who will eternally hurt, who will eternally harm, who will eternally puinish, well ... there is a word for that god: Sadist and for those people: masochist.

We can seperate ourselves from God. We can cause ourselves pain. Because of our free will, we can turn to God or turn away from him. If we turn away from Him, then there is nothing He can do. To force you back to Him (which is possible) would be the equivalent of spiritual rape - consequently, God exists with the pain of knowing you have abandonned Him.

God sure is a good God... but we must understand that the God in Genesis 6:7 is also the God in John 3:16... MY God is the God who punishes and the God who Saves! there must be a balance... that's why Paul said in Romans 11:22.. "Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off."
.... We who are in Christ must not rest in our laurels but rather with compassion seek the lost...^_^

We had a short drama about "The letter from hell" in my church, I must say it was good and scary.I do not agree with enJAYneer, fear sometimes make us do great things, like getting out of harms way... If we generate that fear into something positive, wouldn't that be something good? My point: There are different ways to teach someone something and different ways to motivate them.

I'm not saying he doesn't make a strong point
