One of my recent addictions is Happy Lemon in Eastwood Mall. They also have branches at leading malls in Metro Manila (Promenade in Greenhills and Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center). I actually am not a fan of tea because of the tongue-stinging sensation it gives me. But with Happy Lemon's ingenious and wide array of tea blends, my world suddenly became un mundo al reves (a Spanish phrase which means world upside down). Most of my friends who have been at Happy Lemon before recommended the Rock Salt Cheese series specifically Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese (Regular = Php80.00, Large = Php90.00). Guess what? I LOVED IT! I've never been so happy with drinking tea, ever before!
And here's one important TIP you should never forget to make your Happy Lemon experience more enjoyable: DON'T USE STRAW in drinking and don't ever try to mix or stir it. Just sip it straight from the glass. This is the best way to enjoy and savor all the flavors smeared on top. And also, rock salt is not just there to add that salty feel. In fact, salt is an important catalyst in bringing out and amplifying the flavor of a drink. Ooooh, interesting, isn't it?
