The All Saints' Day Tradition

Our family and relatives had a peaceful celebration of the All Saints' Day (All Hallows Day) for our faithfully departed at Holy Mary Memorial Park. The tradition is known to every Christians as a commemoration of the belief that as sons of God, we are all connected in a communion and that we are joined in the divine commonality of Christians through our prayers.

Here in the Philippines, this tradition of flower offerings, lighting of candles and praying for our departed loved ones is kind of like a family reunion as it is one of the few yearly occasions where most of the members in the family roots meet.
