SM Pampanga Launches Mall-wide Free Wi-Fi Internet

SM City Pampanga can now be officially called a bloggers' hub because the mall is now a big wifi hotspot. We were a part of the bloggers and mall shoppers who graced the soft launching last Saturday, June 27, 2009 thanks to my former college professor and former dean, Engr. Roman Palo, who is now the mall manager who invited us to take part in the gathering.

I think this is a very good way to promote the mall and to attract more shoppers because anyone can bring their laptops or Wi-Fi enabled handhelds with them and enjoy free unlimited internet browsing.

Mr. Palo who have worked for an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) company for quite a long time encouraged us to establish an organization of bloggers here in Pampanga where we can organize writing-related gatherings or contests. He said that the mall can hold such events and a lot of sponsors will be willing to show support, too.

SM City Clark has already launched its mall-wide free Wi-Fi service. And not only that, a proposal is already in progress to WiFi-enable the whole Clark Special Ecozone. Wow.

My Say on M. Bay's Transformers 2 Revenge of The Fallen

At last, I have seen Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Again, Michael Bay did a pretty good job on the movie and I am still looking forward to more sequels. The CGI was done perfectly especially the Egypt scenes.

And OMG, Megan Fox nailed it! She's sizzling hot. Though unlike the first, a lot from the Decepticons and from the Autobots were present in the movie but some really didn't make an impact on the overall plot. I, along with the other fans out there were looking for that "something" in the movie. And I guess if that "something" was contained and provided in this movie, I will definitely crave to watch it over and over again.

I am a Transformers fan and I have high regards for this movie especially to Michael Bay and the cast. I would want to watch it twice but never three times.

The King of Pop, Michael Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on thursday at 50 due to cardiac arrest. Doctors said that he was no longer breathing upon arrival and they tried all they can to revive him but it was already too late for them.

Michael Jackson who was born on August 29, 1958 has left a remarkable legacy in the world of music entertainment and will forever be remembered by everyone. His all time hits like Thriller, Billie Jean, and all his Billboard topping hits will for sure remain in the heart of every jacko fans in the world.

Actually, I'm not going to post any of the videos from the popular Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili careless whisper video scandal, Hayden Kho and Maricar Reyes sofa scandal, Ruffa Mae and Hayden Kho video or Bea Alonzo and Hayden Kho issue. I just would like to know how much traffic this issue can generate on my blog. Enjayneer is still and will remain a wholesome blog.

I tried searching for related blogs and doing some research on how much hits they generate in a day. And I was surprised that their topics concerning Hayden Kho, Katrina Halili, Maricar Reyes, Ruffa Mae Quinto, Bea Alonzo, Vicky Belo and the keywords: sex scandal, video scandal, careless whisper and other related terms are the top rating contents.

Sounds interesting huh? The sole reason for this is I am finding ways on how to increase my traffic on my page. And one tip that I found out is by creating a post that has a timely and popular content that the public is eager to know about. :)

I'ma Get Myself A Jeep Wrangler

After being at ease in my driving using the old Samurai 4X4 that my previous company issued to me, I am actually thinking of saving to buy a similar one. Not really the actual Samurai, but at least a jeep type, off-road ride. I am a rough rider that is why I think I need a drive that can accompany me in doing my adventure trips.

Maricar Reyes. Aside from Katrina Halili along with that popular Careless Whisper song by George Michael, this beautiful commercial model/actress to date is one of the most searched names in the Internet because of the recent scandal that Katrina, she and her ex-boyfriend Dr. Hayden Kho were facing right now.

The first time I saw Maricar's picture, it felt like deja vu because I knew I have seen her somewhere before. And I was right. She was that girl in the Pond's commercial and later on entered into acting and appeared at some ABS CBN TV shows in the past. For your information, she is a doctor as well which she practices when not doing commercials. Truly a combination of beauty and brains.

Now, an instant celebrity; but I am sure she regrets every details which made her popular in the Internet and television. She will never gonna dance again. I just hope Maricar Reyes will surpass this trial she is dealing with right now. And to Katrina Halili as well. I think they were victims, they were harassed and their privacies were invaded because of those explicit sex video scandals that came out because of Hayden Kho.

I Need To Have Myself Massaged

Why Women Love Shoes So Much

Just today while I was in my room and watching a local television show from a home and lifestyle channel, the hosts were discussing a topic on why girls love shoes so much. At first, I thought of it as a non-sense discussion so I changed channel. But then, I got so bothered and I kept on figuring out on what really is the reason behind girls getting crazy over shoes. I can't help it so I switched back to that channel to get myself educated.

One of the guests explained that there is no mysterious theory or deep speculations about it. One of the marvelous inventions of man is Arts. I grew up to be a kid who loves to paint and got immersed into different arts hobbies like sculpting and interior designs. But above all these, I am proud to say that I paint and it's a feel good hobby for me. I have always dreamt of becoming a famous painter and organizing my own photo gallery exhibit. I have collected some of my works from the time I learned how to paint. Some were perfectly preserved but others were wiped down due to age.

I have seen marvelous painting of different artist and all are having unique style and way of composing their subjects. One of the artists I personally like is Stephanie Clair. Looking at her creations made me realize that painting really is a magnificent work of art. Pussycatdolls Live in Manila was JAI HO!

The recent Doll Domination, The Pussycatdolls concert live in Manila was again a huge success. It was held at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds last June 11. The number one all female group in the world has again made another music history in the Philippines. They performed most of their hits like Buttons, Stickwitu, Don't Cha and their newest hit Jai Ho (A Hindi expression which means victory or May you be victorious.), just to name some.

Fil-Am front lead Nicole Sherzinger, along with the girls were really so overwhelmed with the huge crowd and they never expected the audience to be that smokin. One member, Jessica, however, was not there because of a minor accident that caused her a back injury and a broken rib. It's the second time that they performed in the Philippines and fans here surely are so proud to have a Filipina lead singer in this famous girl group. Until next time girls.

The Search Continues for the Air France Jet Crash

After it has been found out that Air France jet flight A330-200 bound for Paris with 228 passengers and crew crashed on Monday night of last week, casualties and recovered bodies are increasing in number to date. One major cause of this problem that most investigators see was the extreme turbulence that the plane encountered as it entered in a stormy zone upon passing by the Atlantic Ocean.

Many are still missing and many still hopes of finding their loved ones alive and safe. Search teams admitted that they have been steering in a wide sea of debris and the search pool is extremely big and encompasses several hundred square miles taking the recovery quite long.

Authorities are giving their one hundred percent efforts as they don't want to cause the victims and their families more suffering.

Victoria Beckham Swims the Sea with Spongebob

Victoria Beckham will be jamming underwater with Spongebob and friends! Nah, it's not what you're thinking. She will not dive in the sea and swim with the fish. The former Spice Girls member will have a special cameo in the cartoon series Spongebob Squarepants which will be aired sometime next year. According to her, she was inspired to do this role by her 4-year old son Cruz, who is a die-hard Spongebob fanatic.

Posh Spice will voice a British princess role by the character of Queen Amphitrite on the said upcoming 2010 episode written especially for her. Sources say that Victoria enjoyed playing the voice role and is so excited to do more. At one interview, she even joked that she could just simply rock up to the studios in a trackie and no make-up and no one would ever know.

Why not? Spongebob is very popular and can get along with the Hollywood shine. This cartoon star deserves to have with him "starry starry" voices under the sea.

Now, Victoria's starting to get the young audience's attention, too.

Microcontroller-based Remote-controlled Color Follower Robot

Robotics is one of the greatest innovations ever discovered by human. Numerous applications of robotics have been developed which greatly helped in the working processes of different industries. This notion shows one of its applications - color following, which can be of a great aid in manufacturing and industrial companies. This project design is entitled "Microcontroller Based Remote Controlled Color Follower Robot for Industrial Navigation".

The study contains several ventures, first is the selection of the right motor that will provide the appropriate speed and torque of the robot. It also includes the construction of the robot itself and its components as well as the training of the OPT-101 IC sensor, a sensing device which is dependent on the light it reflects. Furthermore, the assembly of a program for the PIC16F84A microcontroller, that will enable the robot to follow a certain color specified by the user. And finally, the utilization of an IR remote control, that will automatically control the robot to follow a specific color. The robot follows five different colored papers that is black, blue, beige, peach and white; which is a lot better from the previous developed line-following robots which only follow black and white and does not utilize the remote control.

The idea behind the color-following robot is to that different shades of colors will be stored in the robot's memory by allowing the OPT-101 to sense the colored papers with the help of the precise light source. And then, the OPT-101 will reflect a certain amount of analog voltage. This voltage will then be converted into a digital signal by the analog to digital converter, which will be used subsequently as the basis for the microcontroller to control the navigation of the robot. IF the value is on the specified region of color, then the color is automatically identified. Otherwise, the color is not detected, and eventually the microcontroller pilots the robot to seek for the right value and tape color.

I remember when I was a kid, when our teacher told us to draw gadgets that we wanna invent, I have always arrived at stuffs about supernatural powers, flying shoes, laser swords and so many other imaginary things that were products of watching fictional cartoons and movies that we, as kids then, have never thought of the impossibilities of the things that we watch and fantasize.

While I was browsing through some blogs today at home, I've come to this interesting post from Jules of www.soloden.com about a video from TED that showcases this new mind-boggling gadget that unveils the sixth sense. Watch the video and you'll be amazed on what technology can bring to us. That what you thought then was impossible, will soon be available at the malls.
